Paddies, temples and tea

We also did a bike tour whilst in Ubud. Here are some snaps of the things we got up to along the way:

Cooking up a storm...

Whilst in Ubud, we decided that a cooking course would be fun to try (shout out to Amy for the recommendation). 

Here's a snap of our beautiful kitchen:

And here was the end result! We cooked yellow rice, chicken satay with peanut sauce, spicy tomato sauce, Balinese fried chicken, banana leaf parcels of tuna, and veg too. A taste of what you can look forward to when I get home and invite you over for dinner!

We decided to live the tourist dream in Ubud, and sample lots of local activities. One of several things we went for, was a traditional Gamelan performance:
