Crossing the Nullarbor

Crossing the Nullarbor is a famed Aussie road trip - it's basically a massive treeless plain joining SA and WA that goes for about 1000km. Lots of people assume that it should be boring, but it's actually really cool to be able to see for miles around right to the horizon, and the sunsets are awesome!

We did have a slight problem in that our fan belt broke somewhere around the middle of the Nullarbor...luckily we were saved by our fellow campers - big thanks to the Geordie and the South Australian who fixed it up for us!

We also got some pretty super sized road kill!

It may look like a plain white van, but this is where - or rather what - we call home now! And yes, I have become one of those people that personifies their car... We refer to her affectionately as Cleo :D
